OpenSquare will partner with Patract to develop a multi-asset gas mechanism
Users have to pay platform tokens to pay for transaction gas fees in traditional blockchain systems. For example, they have to hold ethers besides DAI if they want to exchange DAI for other tokens on Uniswap..
OpenSquare will collaborate with Patract to jointly solve this problem on contract platforms in the Polkadot ecosystem. OpenSquare will be mainly responsible for product design, front-end and back-end interaction, while Patract will mainly realize the underlying mechanism with its strong technical strength.
After the completion of this collaboration, any DApp developed on the Patract platform will be able to use its own tokens as user gas fees, while DOT (or any other coins) will be used to complete the final settlement between the contract and the system. In addition to codevelopment, OpenSquare will be the first users with its token as the corresponding gas fees. The multiple currency gas mechanism will significantly improve the usability of blockchain applications and greatly reduce the threshold for ordinary users to enter the Web3.0 world.
