Patract will support privacy DeFi protocol Manta Network to integrate Wasm contract functionality
Recently, Patract collaborated with the Polkadot community teams to establish the Wasm Contract Open Platform. This platform is mainly to bring together excellent parachains and DApp teams from the Polkadot ecosystem who are willing to join the Wasm contract ecosystem to communicate together, and learn together. In the future, Patract also plans to cooperate with the projects of the Open Platform to organize workshops, iterative development tools, collaboratively define contract standards, and support the community to customize contract models and Runtime interfaces according to their own needs.
Manta Network announced to join the Wasm contract open platform. As the first privacy protection DeFi network based on zk-SNARK, Manta is based on the Substrate framework and uses zk-SNARK to provide end-to-end complete anonymity, high throughput, and high cross-chain interoperability (which can support Polkadot and its mainstream parachain cryptocurrencies and stable currency) , high security (open source and auditable code) and easy-to-use protocol. These include the decentralized private payment protocol, the decentralized private token exchange protocol, and the decentralized privacy lending and synthetic asset protocol planned to be developed in the future.
In the Wasm Contract Opening Platform, Manta plans to integrate the Wasm contract module in the later stage, provide its own integrated cryptographic primitives and basic privacy applications to the Wasm contract module, and support more community members to develop upper-level privacy applications and build Manta into a broader privacy DeFi platform. At the same time, Manta plans to cooperate with more decentralized privacy projects, and apply to the Polkadot Council to design the architecture and standards of the ZK module at the Substrate Native layer jointly with Patract, while optimizing the executing speed.
